"Banquo, thy souls flight, if it find heaven, must find it out tonight." In this quote, Macbeth is saying how Baquo will die that night. This quote is important because it gives us that first amazement that Macbeth wants Banquo gone. After reading this quote, you realize that Macbeth is not a good person, and you cannot argue with it at all.
Macbeth wants Banquo gone because he is afraid Banquo has a chance to take the King position instead of Macbeth himself. Macbeth hires three murderers to kill Banquo and his son while they take a walk one night together. The Murderers kill Banquo, but his son gets away and runs off.
